Job Overview
As a mentor, you’ll guide learners through real-world techniques and best practices in digital defense—covering everything from network scanning to cryptography. Whether it’s setting up labs or exploring the minds of hackers, your knowledge will be key to shaping future professionals in cybersecurity.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, up-to-date cybersecurity training sessions (live or recorded)
Guide students through labs and simulations using tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, and Metasploit
Provide mentorship, support, and career guidance for aspiring cybersecurity professionals
Continuously update course materials to reflect the latest threats and techniques
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Strong background in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing
- Hands-on experience with tools like Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, etc.
- Solid grasp of networking, system security, and attack vectors
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing
- Excellent communication skills
- CEH, OSCP, or similar certifications are a strong advantage
