  1.  Activity 1: You will Craft Captivating Openings” – Strategies for impactful introductions (anecdotes, questions, statistics, quotes).

  2. Activity 2: Vocal Warm-up & Diaphragmatic Breathing.

• 3. Practical Exercise: “My 1-Minute Powerful Opening” -Participants prepare and deliver a 1-minute opening for a hypothetical speech, focusing on presence.

  4. Activity 4- (Constructive Feedback):  You will get constructive feedback focusing on positive aspects and one area for improvement.

Homework: Watch and  note down effective openings/closings from professional speakers.

In this second week, you’ll learn how to build logical flow and keep your audience captivated.

Learning Objectives:

1. Master various speech structures (chronological, topical, problem-solution).
2. Understand the psychology of confident speaking.
3. Develop compelling main points and supporting evidence.
4. Understand audience analysis and how to tailor content accordingly.
5. Utilize storytelling and examples to enhance engagement.
6. Practice active listening for effective Q&A.

1. Activity 1: Speech Preparation: Incorporating structure and audience engagement.
2. Activity 2: Introduction to Q&A: “Handling Questions with Confidence” Strategies for listening, clarifying, and responding.

• Practical Exercise: Practice in front of the mirror – Participants outline a 3-4 minute speech on a pre-assigned topic.

Homework: Develop the full outline for your 3-4 minute speech for next week.

In this third week, you’ll learn how to enhance your message with visual aids and delivering with personal flair.

Learning Objectives:

1. 1. Design effective and engaging visual aids (slides, props).
   2. Master vocal dynamics (pitch, pace, volume, pause).
   3. Refine stage movement and purposeful gestures.
   4. Understand the importance of authenticity in delivery.
   5. Deliver a prepared speech incorporating all learned techniques.

Activities for Week 3:

1. Speech Delivery:  Participants deliver their 3-4 minute prepared speeches using a simple feedback form for peers focused on specific Week 3 techniques.

2. Q&A Practice: Each speaker answers one or two questions from the audience, guided by the instructor.

3. Visual Aid Makeover- Participants suggest improvement for poorly designed slides.

4. Practice changes in pitch, pace, and volume.

Homework: Reflect on your speech and areas for improvement. Prepare for next week’s Impromptu Speaking challenge.

In this fourth week, you’ll learn the process of mastering impromptu speaking, handling tough questions, and creating a path for ongoing development.

Learning Objectives:

1. 1. Develop strategies for confident impromptu speaking.
   2. Handle challenging Q&A scenarios gracefully.
   3. Refine overall presentation skills through advanced feedback.
   4. Create a personal public speaking development plan.
   5. Celebrate progress and foster a supportive speaking community.

Activity 1: Impromptu Speaking Challenge: “Topic in a bag” Participants pick a random topic and deliver a 1-2 minute impromptu speech.

Activity 2: Q&A with Instructors: “Ask Me Anything Public Speaking!

Activity 3: Certificates & Celebration: Share final reflections and encouragement.

Activity 4- Award Presentation & Group Photo Moment!
