In this unit, you will learn foundational knowledge of Excel and its interface. You will also be able to identify different data types.

Text Functions

Excel is a powerful tool for data analysis. Its text functions Such as Upper, Lower, Left, Right, Search, Trim, Concentrate etc will be used to teach you how to manipulate, format, and analyze text data in a variety of ways. You will also learn how to combine data from multiple sources into a single field.

Logical Functions

This unit will teach you how to run logical tests on data using logical formulas such as IF, AND, OR, NOT, and XOR to analyze data sets and make decisions.

Lookup Functions

This unit will teach you how to use lookup functions such as HLookup, VLookup, XLookup, Index and match to quickly find a particular value or set of values.

Data preparation in Excel

This unit you will learn filtering, removing of invalid, incomplete, or duplicate data, as well as fixing of inconsistencies in the data and using functions and formulars to clean data.

Pivot Table

This unit will teach you how to use Excel to create Pivot tables, apply filters to the pivot tables, and also create pivot and formatting charts.

Visualization

In this unit, the creation of appealing charts, dashboards, adding slices in dashboard and connecting those slices to the dashboard will be learnt.
