About The Role
Joining the Fastmarkets Products and Strategy team is a fantastic opportunity. To surpass consumer expectations and achieve our long-term growth goals, the Products and Strategy team’s mission is to evaluate our markets, be connected to our customers, and apply our data and products.
We are in charge of strategy, mergers and acquisitions, third-party channel partner partnerships, price development, financial exchange relationships, and product management. There are 30 members of the Products and Strategy team, most of whom are based in the UK but also in the US, Singapore, and China.
We need a UI/UX designer that can comprehend our business needs and any technical constraints. This person will also be in charge of conceptualizing and carrying out user research, and converting the results into sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
A excellent user experience must be ensured by having the designer develop the product’s overall functioning and iterate on it in response to user testing.
Alongside our lead UX designer, you will be at the head of our design team. You’ll influence the future direction of the design team and its procedures.
Principle Accountabilities
- Convert ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that result in user experiences that are intuitive.
- By conducting research, coming up with ideas, sketching, prototyping, and user testing for digital products, you may support the product vision.
- Create and produce user journeys, wireframes, user stories, and mockups that are optimized for a variety of devices and user interfaces.
- Recognize design issues and come up with tasteful fixes.
- Decide on strategic design and user-experience choices for essential and innovative features and functionalities.
- Use a user-centered design strategy and test and iterate your designs as soon as possible.
- Work together with stakeholders and other team members.
- Be curious, take chances, and support fresh concepts.
