The Customer Success Engineering (CSE) team will benefit from this role’s assistance in putting their Support Portal concepts into practice, enhancing inclusive functionality, and adding new capabilities to their Certification Portal. The ideal candidate will have a special combination of frontend programming know-how, UX design competence, and a love for artistically designing and implementing inclusive, brand-related experiences. This is a one-of-a-kind chance to influence how customers engage with their support materials and certification programs. A willingness and desire to collaborate cross-functionally is essential for this position because it involves close collaboration with the company’s Customer Success Engineering, Accreditation Certification & Enablement, and Design departments. The main focus of the Support Portal’s efforts will be on the user experience overall and brand consistency. The work on the Certification Portal will include giving users the option to select a theme (such as high-contrast for persons who are visually challenged) and developing a user interface so that users can easily discover their personal information (such as certifications, exam histories, test results, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • User-Centric Design & Frontend Development: Utilize skills in frontend development as well as UX design to produce intuitive, effective, and simple-to-use user interfaces for users interacting with the Support and Certification Portals.
  • On-Brand Design: Produce aesthetically pleasing and unified user interface designs that are in line with the corporate identity and offer a positive user experience. This entails matching design elements to the company’s brand requirements and using the right images and colors to provide a captivating visual effect.
  • Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that the portal complies with accessibility guidelines and is inclusively built to meet the needs and requirements of a wide range of users.
  • Information Architecture: Create and improve the information architecture of the portal to guarantee simple navigation and the discovery of support materials and certification pathways.
  • Collaboration and communication: To comprehend requirements, propose design concepts, and take input into account, work closely with engineers, certification specialists, and design stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of experience working professionally in UI/UX frontend development.
  • Must have examples of your design projects in a portfolio, preferably in a certification and support portal.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX: knowledge of design and prototyping software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch.
  • Knowledge of certification, support portal work, or anything comparable.
  • Thorough knowledge of interaction and user interface design ideas. the capacity to use frontend development tools like React to translate designs into code.
  • Must truly love front-end development and user experience: Dedicated to staying current on design trends, frontend technologies, and industry best practices, I have a passion for both UX design and frontend programming.
  • User Empathy: The capacity to relate to people on an emotional level, comprehend their problems, and turn knowledge into creative design solutions.
  • experience working directly with certification experts, engineers, and design stakeholders.
  • Experience with Certification Platform: It’s an advantage, but not necessary, to have experience developing for e-learning platforms or certification programs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary to function well in a cross-functional team.
  • Being able to attend occasional meetings internationally and having experience connecting across geographies and time zones.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and adjust to shifting priorities and requirements.
