An experienced React Front-end Developer is needed to support FDA Big Data and Machine Learning solutions for medical research in our team. We are searching for a self-starter who is well-rounded, highly motivated, and interested in a role that has a big impact and lots of fascinating tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and maintain web user interfaces and components
- Deliver tested, well-structured, and error-free code
- Help with application testing
- Build and improve user experience and application usability by collaborating with users, biologists, and data analysts
- Be a part of the entire software development process, from requirements analysis to design to implementation to testing to maintenance
- Troubleshooting, bug solving, and application assistance
Qualifications
Qualifications for the JavaScript Developer
- Computer sciences, software engineering, or a related field: BS or MS
- A minimum requirement for candidates is five or more years of expertise developing JavaScript; consideration will be given to those who have worked with corporate apps
- It is necessary to be familiar with JavaScript libraries and frameworks like React.js
- Good command of web markup, particularly HTML5 and CSS3
- Working familiarity with JSON and REST APIs
- A thorough knowledge of code versioning technologies like Git, Mercurial, or SVN
- Solid familiarity with the behavior and performance of browser rendering
- C++ and/or Python experience is a plus
- Independent and quick learner
