Designing low to high quality user flows and design prototypes will be your responsibility in order to eventually inform production level goods. Establishing and maintaining design systems and assets across the life cycle of new product development involves tight coordination with the Product, Marketing, and Development teams.

We are looking for a very talented, well-rounded designer with specific experience in the UX/UI development of new products. While concentrating on digital products, the ideal applicant is also at ease with UX/UI design to further a variety of early-stage brand developments.

The candidate should be totally committed to developing interactive design trends and technologies that put users first. In this position, you must be able to see the big picture of the finished result while simultaneously putting in the time to fine-tune the smallest project details. To design engaging and meaningful web and mobile user experiences, you will work with our team.

The minimum requirements we seek:

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a design-driven subject, interface design, visual design, or a related field, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • Experience in UI design for at least five years, including high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Five or more years of experience with contemporary design tools to produce sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and written documentation.
  • Five or more years of expertise releasing digital products using agile development and design methodologies.
  • Proven track record in cutting-edge technology, the most recent artistic tools, and design fads.

Portfolio and Design Skills:

  • An impressive portfolio demonstrating a range of digital products that exhibit originality, problem-solving abilities, and a user-centric design philosophy. A portfolio is necessary.
  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional interaction, motion, and aesthetics along with smart, straightforward, purposeful design.
  • Figma and other design and prototyping tool proficiency.

Soft Skills:

  • Outstanding communication abilities, including the capacity to explain design choices and justifications to stakeholders, engineers, and product managers.
  • Working knowledge in managing many projects at once while working in a time-constrained, deadline-driven workplace.

Our preferred requirements

Design Skills:

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping software (such as Figma).
  • Proficiency in managing and creating design systems.
  • Proficient in developing websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Proven experience designing native iOS and Android apps.
  • Knowledge of creating accessible and inclusive design solutions.
  • Expertise in typography, desktop and mobile user interfaces, color, layout, and iconography, as well as how these factors affect product function.

Soft Skills:

  • Competency in human-centered design approaches, processes, and philosophy;
  • Experience working across geographically diverse teams;
  • Capability to actively communicate with product managers and software engineers;
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology in the startup and/or tech industry;

As a Digital Product Designer, you will:

  • Take part in every step of the product development process, including idea generation, market research, creating requirements, creating prototypes, and presenting designs to the tech/development teams.
  • Participate in and oversee the management of a unified design system, visual guidelines, and UX principles across various digital touchpoints (mobile, online, etc.).
  • Work together with the engineering and product management teams to make sure that designs are technically sound, scalable, and implemented in accordance with design requirements.
  • Find design opportunities and workable ideas that combine consumer needs with cutting-edge design standards and technical viability.
  • Promote user-centered design principles and design quality, and explain design choices and justifications to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Work together with other designers and stakeholders to maintain coherence and consistency across products and services, and actively participate in design reviews and criticisms.
  • Collaborate with developers to guarantee that concepts are faithfully executed and function as anticipated across various devices and platforms.

Work together to design iteratively, testing new ideas through experiments and prototypes of varying fidelity, including wireframing, data visualization, click-through prototypes, animation, motion design, scenario storytelling, and functional prototypes and build-ready materials.
